Berlin is growing - Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Wedding
From the origins of medieval Cölln and Berlin this tour follows the annual rings of the growing town through the northern early modern suburbs to the districts of Prenzlauer Berg and Wedding.
Along a subsection of the Berlin Wall bikeway it reaches the government district and Tiergarten. On the way back to the starting point the tour touches the sights of early modern Friedrich- and Dorotheenstadt where the history of Berlin as residential city of the Prussian kings is visible.| information | |
