Get an overview of Germany's capital city and its recent Cold War history and along the way you will see many symbols and remnants from the past. The tour will take you on a journey along the former border, primarily offering you an interesting insight into Berlin's history in the years 1961-1990, how the wall influenced life in Berlin before and after the its fall.

Berlin Wall Memorial
Built in 1998 to commemorate the end of division. One of the he last pieces of Berlin Wall stands on Bernauer Straße - the icon of the Wall Fall on 11th November 1989 - in the former French sector of West Berlin.
East Side Gallery
Located on Mühlenstraße in the district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. It is a real open-air gallery painted on the Berlin Wall in 1990 and it is now known worldwide as a symbol of freedom.
The famous check point between East and West Berlin. Built to restrict westward emigration across the border, it is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Berlin.
While cycling through the neighbourhoods you will also experience how Berlin has changed, re-developed and re-imagined itself since the reunification.

When: From April 1st to October 31st every day at 10.30 in German and at 14:30 in English.
