Go East!

East Berlin unvarnished

This tour takes you through the districts of Friedrichshain, Lichtenberg and Prenzlauer Berg and shows you the eastern part of Berlin from its unvarnished side. We will first get to know the so-called "workers' palaces" along Karl-Marx-Allee and then cycle along other prefabricated housing estates in the district of Lichtenberg. The dark chapters of the GDR past will not be left out on this tour either. The return route then takes us via Prenzlauer Berg past the New Synagogue back to the starting point.

WestSideStories

On this tour you will be guided through the free part of the formerly divided city of Berlin. You will learn that there were not only winners of the reunification and how the cityscape has changed in the last 3 decades.

Of course you will also learn interesting facts about Berlin personalities of the past and present, as well as urban planning of the Gründerzeit, monuments etc. and about Berlin itself. The tour can be adapted at the beginning to suit the theme of the tour in order to provide the perfect tour for all participants.
